You have announced your engagement and everybody is celebrating and looking forward on the wedding day. But, where do you start on planning? To avoid the stress, here are some planning tips you can take into consideration while preparing for the “big day.”

Reserve everything in advance.

“The early bird catches the worm.” If you book the ceremony/ reception hall in advance, you will get exactly what you want. Choose and select the caterer, florist, entertainer/ band, and everything else you need for the wedding as early as possible.

Finalize the guest list and send out invitations early.

The more people you invite, the bigger the amount you have to pay. Keep in mind that your invited guests would probably bring a significant other so every invitation counts for two or more people.

It is important to send invitations in advance so your guests can fix their schedule to accommodate your wedding. It also helps to know how many people are you going to expect on your wedding.

Have a price range and stay on the budget.

Set a realistic budget for your wedding. Be sure that you can handle all the finances to prevent more stress on your wedding day. You can spend $5,000 or even $50,000 for your wedding but keeping in mind your budget will help you allocate the money wisely.

Don’t sweat the small stuff.

It’s your wedding day, so celebrate and enjoy! Don’t fuss on trivial things that may cause more stress on your wedding day. Focus on things that really matters.

Wedding planning is not an easy task. Many different things should be considered to have a successful wedding. Consult others for tips that can be beneficial for you and your partner. Lastly, don’t forget to enjoy and savor the journey.
