5 Tips on Small Weddings

- First consider the size; most of the weddings are measured by how many the guests are. To jump start your plan, it would be wise to consider this first. The number of guests will be considered to determine your accommodation costs.
- Prepare yourself for the reaction you’ll get of your plans. Some may think that small weddings may seem a bit informal and less romantic. Some may even motivate criticism around the amount of gifts that you wouldn’t receive if it was just a small wedding. We are not saying that you shouldn’t consider this, keep an open mind, however, just be prepared.
- Consider other places; good getaways for a few people could actually be a good idea to cozy up the guests. You can either choose to have your honeymoon on the same place of getaway where the wedding will be held or not. Either way, it’s a good idea. Small weddings actually have wider options compared to other weddings with huge accommodations.
- A wedding done at home may not necessarily mean that you would be spending less. Sometimes it would be more practical to have weddings on places that already provide the chairs and tables and some other perks of renting a place. Having your house for a wedding could turn in more costly since you would have to rent tables, chairs and the likes.
- Since you’ll be having a smaller wedding you can actually take in the advantages of it. A small crowd can make the wedding seem a lot of more cozy. Give time for people to mingle like a cocktail or something so that there’s the presence of people having fun and getting along. Each guest can actually give a speech if you want them too.
