Albert Morrison claims he is a religious man, that he prays a lot and reads the bible on a consistent basis saying he has a deep connection with Jesus. He said that it is with his commitment to his religion that urges him and his wife to look for a third spouse online.

He said that Abraham, David, Jacob and Solomon all had multiple wives stating that they were the bible’s most revered prophets. Explaining that the Bible never banned polygamy but instead it glorified it.

The couple is part of the group of Evangelical Christian Polygamist who believed and practiced polygamy having more than just one wife saying that it is spiritually and economically better than monogamy.

The Morrison explains that having multiple wives are essential for them but finding them is not an easy task. The couple lives in eastern Idaho have no religious community to keep their practice and have very little social network to be able to meet potential spouses. This seems to be complicated due to the fact that polygamy is illegal in the United States.

So now the Morrison are beginning to search where millions of people were going to find companionship, sex and love… the internet.

Morrison said, “Sarah and I wish there were as many legitimate avenues for finding a spouse as there are for traditional relationships, but that’s the beauty of the Internet. It eases the loneliness of being a Christian polygamist.”

The said sites has had multiple hits in August 2006 when Warren Jeffs, the fugitive who claimed to be a prophet was caught by the FBI. Jeff was convicted for having been an accomplice for the rape of a 14 year old church mate.

The couple have experience the roller coaster ride of finding a spouse online saying, “We met one woman who was 97 years old, but she acted like she was 20!” They also encountered a good candidate who is in an appropriate age and lives in Alabama, however, she nor they could relocate.

Albert said, “We’re just going to keep praying and keep searching the Internet, God will find someone for us when he wills.”
