Money should never break your marriage
Money plays a vital role in any marriage. Sad to say, it can really break a good relationship. You might want to consider these tips when in managing a successful married life.
· Open a separate joint checking account exclusively for household bills and expenses.
· Make yourselves aware that money and all emotional matters concerning it is part of your daily lives.
· Make agreements on how you both plan to use your disposable incomes.
· Consider your money styles. It is very seldom that couples have the same way of handling their finances. You might even discover that you two really complement each other.
· In case your fiancé has children, maintain separate accounts. This will at least give you the assurance that your earnings will only be spent for your own family.
· Maintain a separate account for your own personal expenses.
· Keep an open communication especially when money is concerned. Once it has become a practice, money will never be a problem or a cause for break-up.
