Never Forget List During a Wedding ( should be put on to do list)
Weddings are wonderful because you get to see the best of everybody for that one day. People prepare to the hilt for their wedding and the quest for perfection is always there no matter how non-chalant the couple would like to pretend to be. There are still hijinks that happen however and most of the time, it’s because somebody forgot something. Here are some things that people shouldn’t forget during the wedding.
1) The Name of your Spouse To Be- When saying your vows, never forget the name of your partner. This is probably the most horrendous thing that one would forget. It would be talked about for days on end and even years and years after. This is not a good start to your marriage. Most probably there will be a fight afterwards and while I know that fights are included in a marriage, it’s not good to start with it.
2) The ring- For some reason, there are always situations where the ring seems to be lost. The ring is one of the most romanticized parts of a wedding and losing that puts everything in a flux. Always check for the ring before the wedding starts.
3) Your parents- Always acknowledge the presence of your parents. There are some situations wherein the focus is on one family only and this could earn resentment from the other family. This usually happens during reception as the couple profusely show gratitude to the family that shouldered the bill and basically making the other parents look like free loaders.
4) It’s your Wedding. A lot of couples forget that it’s their wedding. They get overly concerned about how the guests are doing that they forget to have fun themselves. Remember that this is your wedding and not theirs and your pleasure, your comfort is of much bigger importance than theirs.
5) Signing the Marriage Contract- The ceremony is nothing if you do not sign the contract. This is because legally speaking the contract would be the basis of all your dealings afterwards. Never forget to sign your marriage contract because it will protect you and your family.
